Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6

Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6
The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 is a next-generation ultra-high performance tyre that raises the bar for what a UHP tyre can deliver in everyday driving. Crowned 2025 Test Winner by AutoBild Magazine and engineered for performance cars, luxury vehicles, crossovers, and SUVs across an exceptional range of over 100 sizes from 17″ to 23″, the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 delivers near-track-day levels of grip in both wet and dry conditions — without asking you to sacrifice comfort, refinement, or refinement on the daily commute. EV-ready across the full range, and available with Goodyear’s SoundComfort and SealTech technologies in select fitments, this is the tyre that redefines what premium UHP performance.

Features and Benefits

  • 2025 AutoBild Test Winner: Awarded the top ranking in AutoBild Magazine’s prestigious 2025 summer tyre test — independent confirmation that the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 outperforms its UHP rivals where it counts most, in both wet and dry conditions.
  • Adaptive tread compound with maximised rubber-to-road contact: A flexible compound engineered to remain pliable across varying temperatures, maximising the amount of rubber in contact with the road at all times — delivering consistently strong grip, braking, and handling confidence whether conditions are warm, cool, or changeable.
  • Wet Braking Pro compound for outstanding wet performance: A specially developed wet compound significantly improves grip and braking on wet and rain-soaked road surfaces — delivering the short, confident stopping distances and stable wet handling that make a genuine safety difference on New Zealand’s frequently damp roads.
  • Asymmetric tread pattern for quick response and cornering traction: The asymmetric tread layout is purpose-designed to provide quick steering response and maximum traction through turns — with the outer shoulder section optimised for cornering grip and the inner section focused on water evacuation and wet safety.
  • Stiff outer shoulder blocks for steering precision and feedback: Reinforced outer shoulders provide enhanced steering feel and lateral stability through corners and lane changes, giving drivers the direct, connected feedback that defines a genuine UHP driving experience — every movement of the wheel translates precisely to the road.
  • Continuous centre rib for high-speed stability: A rigid, continuous centre rib maintains stable road contact at motorway speeds, contributing to precise straight-line tracking and the planted, confident feel that drivers of premium performance vehicles expect.
  • Lightweight construction for reduced road noise and improved efficiency: The weight-optimised construction minimises road noise and reduces rolling resistance, contributing to a quieter cabin experience and lower fuel consumption — achieving refinement and efficiency alongside outright performance.
  • SoundComfort technology (select fitments): An acoustic foam layer inside the tyre minimises road noise resonance for a noticeably quieter, more refined cabin experience — particularly beneficial for luxury and EV vehicles where tyre noise is the dominant sound at speed.
  • SealTech puncture sealing technology (select fitments): An internal sealant layer automatically seals punctures up to 5mm, allowing continued driving after a minor tread puncture — providing genuine peace of mind for drivers who travel without a spare, including EV owners.
  • EV-ready across the full range: Engineered to handle the increased weight and instant torque delivery of electric vehicles throughout the entire size range, with compound and construction optimisations that reduce rolling resistance to support improved EV driving

In order for us to give you an accurate quote it is handy to have your tyre size to hand. The easiest way to find this is to look on the sidewall of your existing tyre, where you will see a combination of numbers and letters.

Width: (this is the first set of numbers) and represents the width of the tyre sidewall in Millimetres.

Profile: This is the height of the sidewall as a percentage of the width of the tyre

Rim: This is the diameter of the inner rim in inches

When looking for your tyre size note down the size of both the front and rear tyres as many cars have been developed with two different sizes.
