Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport R

Eagle F1 SuperSport R
The Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport R is the track-biased evolution of the SuperSport — a road-legal UUHP tyre engineered for drivers who want to take their performance car from the road to the circuit without changing tyres. Stepping up from the standard SuperSport in grip, steering precision, and high-speed stability, the SuperSport R uses a resin-tuned high-friction compound, groove bridge technology for extended cornering stability, and a footprint-optimised profile for more consistent pressure distribution — delivering the kind of driving experience that makes apexes feel natural and braking zones feel safe. EV-ready and road legal, it’s the tyre for drivers who push harder, corner faster, and expect their rubber to keep up.

Features and Benefits

  • Resin-tuned compound for exceptional dry grip: A high-friction compound enhanced with resin technology improves the rubber’s adhesion to the road surface at the molecular level — producing exceptional dry grip levels that exceed the standard SuperSport and approach the limit of what a road-legal tyre can achieve on dry tarmac.
  • Groove bridges for extended cornering stability: Precision-engineered bridges built into the inner groove of the tread pattern reduce tread block deformation under extreme cornering forces — maintaining consistent block contact and stability through long, fast corners where lesser tyres begin to squirm and lose precision.
  • Footprint-optimised tyre contour for ultimate steering precision: The tyre’s profile is specifically engineered to optimise pressure distribution across the full contact patch — ensuring consistent, even loading across the footprint for maximum steering precision, direct feedback, and confidence-inspiring response at the limit.
  • Tread deformation protector for superior high-speed stability: A structural reinforcement built into the tread area resists tread deformation at high speeds, maintaining the tyre’s optimised contact geometry and delivering superior high-speed stability and consistency — critical for track use where sustained high-speed cornering places extreme demands on tyre structure.
  • Asymmetric tread pattern for dry and wet performance: The asymmetric layout dedicates the outer shoulder to maximum dry cornering grip while the inner section manages water evacuation and wet traction — achieving the best possible performance in both conditions from a single tyre design.
  • Circumferential grooves for wet weather capability: While the SuperSport R is primarily optimised for dry performance, circumferential grooves actively evacuate water from the contact patch to reduce hydroplaning risk and maintain confident wet weather braking and handling — delivering respectable wet capability alongside its exceptional dry performance.
  • Road legal with genuine track capability: Fully compliant for road use, the SuperSport R is designed to perform confidently in both environments — from the morning commute to a full track day, without compromising either experience.
  • EV ready: Engineered to handle the weight and instant torque delivery of electric performance vehicles, making it a capable choice for high-performance EV drivers who demand UUHP levels of grip and precision.
  • Available with N0 Porsche approval (select sizes): Certain sizes carry Porsche’s N0 OEM approval designation for road-going Porsche models, confirming the SuperSport R meets Porsche’s demanding performance and safety standards — the correct factory-approved replacement for N0-marked Porsche fitments.

In order for us to give you an accurate quote it is handy to have your tyre size to hand. The easiest way to find this is to look on the sidewall of your existing tyre, where you will see a combination of numbers and letters.

Width: (this is the first set of numbers) and represents the width of the tyre sidewall in Millimetres.

Profile: This is the height of the sidewall as a percentage of the width of the tyre

Rim: This is the diameter of the inner rim in inches

When looking for your tyre size note down the size of both the front and rear tyres as many cars have been developed with two different sizes.
