Hankook K125B RUNFLAT

K125B RUNFLAT
The Hankook Ventus Prime3 K125B is a premium runflat tyre that brings the acclaimed comfort, refinement, and balanced performance of the Ventus Prime3 range together with the added security of runflat capability. Designed for drivers of prestige and performance passenger cars fitted with runflat-compatible wheels and TPMS — including BMW and MINI models — the K125B delivers the quiet, composed everyday driving experience the Prime3 is known for, with the peace of mind that a puncture won’t leave you stranded. For drivers who value comfort, safety, and the freedom of travelling without a spare tyre, the Ventus Prime3 K125B strikes the right balance.

Features and Benefits

  • Reinforced runflat sidewall construction: Self-supporting reinforced sidewalls bear the vehicle’s weight after a complete loss of tyre pressure, allowing continued driving at reduced speeds — removing the need for a spare tyre and eliminating the risk of being stranded roadside after a puncture
  • Continued mobility after puncture: Enables continued driving for up to 80km at speeds under 80km/h after a puncture or complete pressure loss, providing the critical window to reach a tyre shop or safe location safely and without drama
  • High-grip silica compound with advanced mixing technology: Improves wet braking performance by 8% over the previous generation while reducing rolling resistance — delivering improved safety in wet conditions alongside better fuel efficiency
  • Asymmetric tread pattern with 10% enlarged contact patch: Increases the rubber-to-road contact area for superior dry handling, stronger cornering grip, and more confident longitudinal and lateral traction
  • Four circumferential water evacuation grooves with optimised lateral groove depths: Rapidly channels water away from the contact patch to resist aquaplaning and maintain wet grip, with groove depths carefully balanced to minimise trade-offs between wet and dry performance
  • Three strong wide tread ribs: Maintain continuous road contact for enhanced steering precision, consistent mileage, and a stable, composed feel through corners and under braking
  • Groove chamfer design: Spreads the contact patch under braking to increase grip precisely when it matters most, contributing to shorter, more confident stopping distances
  • 9% improved wear resistance with new tread compound: Extends tyre life over the previous generation — a particularly meaningful benefit in a runflat tyre where replacement costs are typically higher
  • Lightweight rayon casing with wide steel belt layer and high stiffness bead filler: Contributes to better handling precision, steering response, and high-speed controllability — keeping the tyre stable and accurate even under the additional weight of reinforced runflat sidewalls
  • Optimised pitch design with anti-air resistance sidewall and angled lateral grooves: Reduces road noise through three complementary mechanisms, delivering a quieter, more refined cabin experience that matches the premium vehicles this tyre is designed for
  • Visual Alignment Indicator (VAI) system: Provides a visible cue when wheel alignment changes over time, helping protect against premature or uneven tyre wear and prompting alignment checks before tyre life is compromised

In order for us to give you an accurate quote it is handy to have your tyre size to hand. The easiest way to find this is to look on the sidewall of your existing tyre, where you will see a combination of numbers and letters.

Width: (this is the first set of numbers) and represents the width of the tyre sidewall in Millimetres.

Profile: This is the height of the sidewall as a percentage of the width of the tyre

Rim: This is the diameter of the inner rim in inches

When looking for your tyre size note down the size of both the front and rear tyres as many cars have been developed with two different sizes.
