Maxxis Bighorn MU10B — Rear

MU10B
The Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 MU10B is the rear tyre of the next-generation Bighorn 2.0 — and in the ATV and UTV world, few names carry more weight than Bighorn. This new generation takes everything that generations of ATV drivers loved about the original Bighorn and makes it lighter, more agile, more responsive, and more stable. The result is a tyre that off-road racing champions Hunter Miller and Kyle Chaney trust to win with — and that New Zealand farm riders, trail enthusiasts, and weekend warriors can rely on for the same reasons. Versatile across all terrain, velvety smooth over rough ground, and tough enough to handle serious loads despite its lightweight build — the Bighorn 2.0 MU10B rear is quite simply one of the best all-terrain ATV and UTV rear tyres on the market.

Features and Benefits

  • Built on the legendary Bighorn platform — lighter and better: The Bighorn 2.0 retains all the remarkable durability and traction of the original Bighorn while shedding significant weight — making it more agile, more responsive, and more stable than its already legendary predecessor. Chosen by off-road racing champions Miller and Kyle Chaney for good reason.
  • Lightweight design for faster acceleration and more precise handling: Reduced rotational mass means the rear end responds quicker to throttle inputs and direction changes — delivering sharper, more precise handling that makes the Bighorn 2.0 feel genuinely athletic on the trail and track.
  • Radial construction for a velvety smooth ride: The radial casing absorbs rocks, bumps, and lumps as the tyre rolls over rough terrain, delivering a noticeably smoother and more comfortable ride than bias-ply alternatives — even at speed over technical ground.
  • Outstanding strength-to-weight ratio: Light weight does not mean light loads. Maxxis’s off-road racing expertise is baked into the carcass — delivering a super-strong construction with a strength-to-weight ratio that handles heavy loads and serious terrain without compromise.
.Non-directional tread pattern for predictable cornering and climbing confidence: The non-directional lug layout delivers consistent, predictable cornering in all directions — and claws confidently over roots and rocks for optimum climbing confidence on steep or technical terrain.
  • High void ratio with self-cleaning tread: Wide spacing between tread elements actively ejects mud, snow, and debris from the contact patch, maintaining consistent grip and traction across the full range of all-terrain conditions the Bighorn 2.0 is designed for.
  • Slimmer lugs for improved grip and manoeuvrability: Redesigned slimmer lugs maintain the aggressive Bighorn tread character while delivering improved grip precision and turn-in response — an evolution of the original that adds refinement without losing bite.
  • 6-ply rated radial construction: A robust 6-ply radial casing delivers the structural strength and durability Bighorn owners have always expected — maintaining the tyre’s optimal shape under load and driving pressure across the full service life.
  • Versatile across all terrain types and seasons: Hard-packed trails, intermediate soils, soft terrain, mud, sand, rocks, and roots — the Bighorn 2.0 handles it all with equal confidence, making it the ideal all-conditions rear tyre for New Zealand’s diverse ATV and UTV environments.

In order for us to give you an accurate quote it is handy to have your tyre size to hand. The easiest way to find this is to look on the sidewall of your existing tyre, where you will see a combination of numbers and letters.

Width: (this is the first set of numbers) and represents the width of the tyre sidewall in Millimetres.

Profile: This is the height of the sidewall as a percentage of the width of the tyre

Rim: This is the diameter of the inner rim in inches

When looking for your tyre size note down the size of both the front and rear tyres as many cars have been developed with two different sizes.
