Maxxis Carnivore ML1

ML1
The Maxxis Carnivore ML1 is an extreme all-terrain UTV and side-by-side tyre that earns its name — a gnarly, aggressive, light truck-inspired tyre built to devour rocks, roots, mud, desert terrain, and rough country with equal ferocity. Engineered with an 8-ply radial construction, a specialised hard rubber compound, and wraparound shoulder lugs that extend onto the sidewall, the Carnivore delivers ultimate on and off-road control across the most demanding terrain conditions. The OEM replacement tyre for the Kawasaki KRX 1000 — one of the most capable and aggressive factory UTVs available — the ML1 Carnivore is the tyre for riders who take no prisoners on the trail.

Features and Benefits

  • Gnarly light truck-inspired tread design: The ML1 Carnivore takes its design cues directly from light truck mud-terrain tyres, bringing that class of aggression, tread depth, and durability to the UTV and side-by-side world for riders who need genuine extreme terrain performance.
  • Specialised hard rubber compound for traction and longevity: A purpose-formulated hard compound delivers exceptional traction on rocks, roots, and desert-style terrain while simultaneously extending tread life — achieving both performance and durability without compromise.
  • Wraparound shoulder lugs extending onto the sidewall: The lugs wrap aggressively around the shoulder and down onto the sidewall, providing critical lateral traction in ruts and deep corners while also protecting the sidewall from abrasion and impact damage during rock crawling and technical off-road driving.
  • Non-directional tread pattern for ultimate control: The non-directional lug layout delivers consistent, predictable handling in all directions — providing confident control over roots, rocks, mud, and loose terrain with none of the tippy, unsettled feeling that can come from tall, aggressive tyres on heavier UTV machines.
  • Staggered tread block placement with high void ratio: The strategic staggered block layout and wide void spacing between lugs actively clear mud, dirt, and debris from the contact patch, maintaining grip and forward traction in the kind of conditions that pack lesser tyres solid.
  • Deep 23/32″ tread depth: Generous tread depth ensures consistent performance across the full service life of the tyre — sustaining grip and traction long after the initial lugs have begun to wear, and providing lasting value for riders who push hard across tough terrain.
  • 8-ply radial construction for strength and load capacity: The heavy-duty 8-ply radial casing withstands the heavier loads and higher speeds of modern performance UTVs, maintaining structural shape and integrity under the combined stresses of aggressive riding, rough terrain, and heavy payloads.
  • Computer-aided design for on and off-road versatility: Maxxis’s CAD-optimised tread geometry allows the Carnivore to perform confidently both on and off-road — delivering trail-worthy traction without the excessive road noise and instability that can make purely aggressive mud tyres unpleasant between the rough stuff.
  • Kawasaki KRX 1000 OEM replacement: The factory-correct replacement tyre for the Kawasaki KRX 1000 — one of the most capable and aggressive stock UTVs on the market — confirming the Carnivore meets the demanding performance standards of one of the industry’s toughest platforms.

In order for us to give you an accurate quote it is handy to have your tyre size to hand. The easiest way to find this is to look on the sidewall of your existing tyre, where you will see a combination of numbers and letters.

Width: (this is the first set of numbers) and represents the width of the tyre sidewall in Millimetres.

Profile: This is the height of the sidewall as a percentage of the width of the tyre

Rim: This is the diameter of the inner rim in inches

When looking for your tyre size note down the size of both the front and rear tyres as many cars have been developed with two different sizes.
