Maxxis Maxxcross IT M7304 — Front

M7304
The Maxxis Maxxcross IT M7304 is the front tyre companion to the M7305 rear — and together they form one of the most trusted and widely used matched tyre combinations in the motocross and enduro world. Purpose-built as a front fitment for intermediate to hard-packed terrain, the M7304 is engineered to deliver precise steering feel, confident braking control, and reliable cornering traction across the varied soil conditions found on motocross tracks and off-road trails. Trusted by top motocross and cross-country racers worldwide and available in a broad range of sizes including junior fitments, the Maxxcross IT M7304 is the front tyre that keeps riders in control when it matters most.

Features and Benefits

  • Pairs with M7305 rear tyre for balanced overall performance: Designed as a matched combination with the Maxxcross IT M7305 rear, the M7304 front delivers a cohesive, balanced handling package — with front and rear compound and knob characteristics tuned to work together for consistent performance across intermediate to hard-packed terrain.
  • Purpose-designed front tyre knob layout: The knob pattern is specifically configured for front wheel applications — optimised for steering precision, straight-line tracking, and confident braking performance rather than the drive traction focus of the rear M7305.
  • Performs best on intermediate to hard-packed terrain: The M7304 compound and knob design is optimised for the conditions most commonly encountered on New Zealand motocross tracks and trail riding routes, delivering predictable, confidence-inspiring front end feel across the terrain types Kiwi riders face most.
  • Advanced rubber compound for stability and grip: A specially formulated medium compound maintains stability and traction under the braking and cornering forces placed on the front wheel during aggressive motocross and enduro riding.
  • Unique knob design for exceptional traction and handling: Knobs are positioned and shaped to maximise front-end grip through corners and under braking, while maintaining steering precision and feedback across a wide variety of soil conditions.
  • Robust bias-ply carcass construction: Provides structural strength and stability over rough and technical terrain, keeping the tyre in shape under the repeated impacts and lateral loads of competitive track and trail riding.
  • Reinforced sidewall for stability and durability: The reinforced sidewall resists deformation under braking and cornering loads, delivering consistent handling feel and protecting the carcass from damage throughout a full race or ride session.
  • Exceptional long tread life: Shares the Maxxcross IT’s well-earned reputation as one of the longest-wearing intermediate motocross tyres available — a genuine practical benefit for club racers and regular riders who want more time between replacements.
  • Available in junior sizes: Size range includes smaller junior fitments, making the M7304 accessible for younger riders across all levels of the sport.

In order for us to give you an accurate quote it is handy to have your tyre size to hand. The easiest way to find this is to look on the sidewall of your existing tyre, where you will see a combination of numbers and letters.

Width: (this is the first set of numbers) and represents the width of the tyre sidewall in Millimetres.

Profile: This is the height of the sidewall as a percentage of the width of the tyre

Rim: This is the diameter of the inner rim in inches

When looking for your tyre size note down the size of both the front and rear tyres as many cars have been developed with two different sizes.
