The Maxxis Maxxcross IT M7305 is a race-proven rear motocross and enduro tyre trusted by top motocross and cross-country racers around the world. Engineered for intermediate to hard-packed terrain, the Maxxcross IT is one of the most respected names in the motocross tyre category — renowned for its exceptional durability, consistent grip across a wide variety of soil conditions, and long tread life that keeps weekend warriors and serious competitors on the track longer between replacements. Available in a wide range of sizes including junior sizes for younger riders, the M7305 pairs with the M7304 front tyre for balanced, matched performance front and rear.

Features and Benefits

  • Unique knob design for precise steering and versatile traction: The specially engineered knob pattern is purpose-designed to provide exceptional handling and traction across a wide variety of soil conditions encountered on motocross tracks and off-road loops — from intermediate loam to harder packed surfaces.
  • Performs best on intermediate to hard-packed terrain: The M7305 compound and knob design is optimised for the conditions most commonly encountered on New Zealand motocross tracks and trail riding — delivering consistent, predictable performance across the terrain types Kiwi riders face most often.
  • Advanced rubber compound for stability and straight-line traction: A specially formulated medium compound enhances traction, improves stability, and maintains grip under the aggressive acceleration, braking, and cornering forces of competitive motocross and enduro riding.
  • Robust bias-ply carcass construction: Provides a strong, stable platform over rough and technical surfaces, maintaining the tyre’s shape and structural integrity under the sustained impact and torsional loads of hard riding.
  • Widely spaced sharp-edged knobs for bite and self-cleaning: The knob geometry provides positive biting edges for acceleration, cornering, and braking traction, while the spacing between knobs allows mud and loose material to eject cleanly — maintaining available grip in variable conditions.
Reinforced sidewall construction: Delivers excellent lateral stability and resistance to the torque-wrenching
  • forces generated by hard riding, protecting the carcass from damage and maintaining handling precision throughout a race or ride session.
  • Exceptional long tread life: The Maxxcross IT is well-regarded in the motocross community as one of the longest-wearing intermediate tyres available — an important practical benefit for club riders and regular track users who want more riding between tyre changes.
  • Pairs with M7304 front tyre: Designed as a matched front and rear combination with the Maxxcross IT M7304 front tyre for balanced, optimised overall performance — worth stocking both if the M7304 is also in the database
Available in junior sizes: Size range includes smaller junior fitments, making the Maxxcross IT accessible for younger riders stepping up through the sport.

In order for us to give you an accurate quote it is handy to have your tyre size to hand. The easiest way to find this is to look on the sidewall of your existing tyre, where you will see a combination of numbers and letters.

Width: (this is the first set of numbers) and represents the width of the tyre sidewall in Millimetres.

Profile: This is the height of the sidewall as a percentage of the width of the tyre

Rim: This is the diameter of the inner rim in inches

When looking for your tyre size note down the size of both the front and rear tyres as many cars have been developed with two different sizes.
